Naperville, IL - September 2016 - "IEple.com | Embrace Technology" is proud to offer "BioGreenPC – A Green Approach to High Performance Computers" project on Kickstarter.
Boost your productivity with environmentally friendly BioGreenPCs. Perform 6 times faster, and save up to 80% on electricity!
BioGreenPC was designed by Network and System Administrators who have supported thousands of corporate computers and came up with the perfect combination of Processor, Hard drive capacity, data transfer rate and RAM requirements to meet every business and home user needs.
Aside from performance benefits it also features a power supply that saves 80% on electricity, making it the only true Sustainable choice for high performance computing.
Due to the success of our first generation BioGreenPC, we are moving towards the next generation with double memory and double storage, but we need your help to put it on the market at unbeatable prices.
"We have implemented these devices in our warehouse as terminals for our RDS environment as well as machine replacement solutions for some of our end users. We tested every product under the sun from CLI thin clients to the infinitely versatile Dell Wyse clients. The iEple BioGreen PC's hands down out perform anything similar on the market that we tested..." (click to see full review) Shindawa, IL
System administrators enjoy the ability to store hundreds of BioGreenPC’s in very small spaces which save storage and time for large deployments.
Our convenient packaging also allow technicians to deploy dozens of units form a single box without the need of carts or hurt backs.
Our boxes are not only eco-friendly but also reusable, they usually end up as
office supplies storage rather than in the trash.
Deploy in less than 2 minutes per unit (3 easy steps)
BioGreenPC boots in 10 seconds or less (boot time starting after POST and may vary depending on the environment) and will continue to perform the same for the years to come. Solid State Drive technology is our signature for all our computing products; electrical signals to write and read data will beat by 10 times the speed of regular spinning plate drives. Less boot time means less employee frustration, less cigarette and coffee breaks per shift.
The pace of technology accelerates exponentially as more products become available, with better prices and better features as well as shorter release cycles. It seems like a win win situation for both producers and consumers, but what about the environment toll?
Yes, technology is a necessity and the only choice to stay in business is to stay updated and replace all equipment whenever is possible. But there is always a choice to make this practice sustainable:
As a Business Technology Services company, we wanted to join the new green movements that are spreading around the globe and be able to educate and help business and consumers about sustainable choices for high performance computers.
We’ve been selling our first generation BioGreenPC units to manufacturing companies and business offices, where benefits became visible from day one:
Evolution of the Product
We started designing low power regular towers but were not satisfied with only a few savings; after testing aside from the amount of waste generated and high costs of packaging and shipping big volumes. We tried and built many prototypes, shrinking size and power consumption until we were satisfied with the most cost effective Super Computer: BioGreenPC.
It’s been almost two years since our first generation BioGeenPC is been in production for a few companies, so it’s time to scale it and make them available for all other responsible and successful Businesses and consumers.
With your help, we will be able to acquire components in large quantities to keep pricing competitive.
Whereas in today’s world every computer part comes from overseas, we are choosing to assemble in the US, employing local professionals to help our economy and guarantee good quality in the final build.
Our Kickstarter campaign is necessary to launch our Next Generation BioGreenPC, which will feature energy efficient 6th Generation Intel Processors, 16GB of Ram and240GB of Solid State Drive. A perfect combination of high performance specifications at prices that beat competitors with Green focus savings:

It's been a few months since we started formal sales of our BioGreenPC brand. An Environmentally Friendly High performance computer. We would like to pass along the posting after an interview we had from BizFi.com which we are pasting below:
"...Bizfi Gives Green Tech Entrepreneurs A Boost
In just two years, suburban Chicago entrepreneurs Miguel and Clementina Jimenez have built a strong roster of corporate, medical, manufacturing and academic clients for their technology services company, iEple.com. They’ve also developed a strong sense of how businesses are losing time, money and productivity because of their computer setups, and they’re out to change that.
Based in Naperville, Ill. just west of Chicago, iEple (“eeple) has developed what it calls the BioGreenPC, a fist-sized device that can replace the bulky tower of a desktop computer. It boots up faster than conventional PCs and, perhaps better still, uses 80 percent less electricity. “In the three to five years that companies keep computers, 50 percent of BioGreen‘s price is paid for in the energy savings,” says Miguel Jimenez.
Miguel, now 35, developed his passion for computers as a child. “I wanted a Nintendo for my sixth birthday but my dad said you have to learn to use a computer before I will get it for you,” he recalls. “He had one of the early Apples; you had to boot it with a floppy drive. I would go to his office on the weekend to learn all the ins and outs. I ended up liking it, and by the time I learned how to use it I didn’t want a Nintendo anymore.” Later when he was in high school, he was fixing computers as well as building office networks.
Miguel, who was born in America and raised in Mexico, eventually got a law degree and practiced in Mexico. But he found himself called back to the world of computers in 2010 after he got a computer science degree from the College of DuPage in the Chicago suburbs. Clementina Jimenez, also America-born and Mexico-raised, has a bachelors in management from Purdue and 10 years of experience in corporate and hospitality management. Together, they created a company to provide tech services to small- and medium-sized companies with strong proactive approach.
When some of our clients wanted to upgrade their computers, we discovered that no major brand satisfied all of their needs in terms of budget and performance,” Miguel says. So iEple built a machine that could. Instead of the 4 gigs of RAM memory on standard computers, iEple’s first generation BioGreenPC shipped with 8 and used solid-state drives so that its patent-pending computers boot in 10 seconds, instead of 10 minutes, every time.
The BioGreenPC’s biggest plus may be its energy profile. The average PC uses 80 to 100 watts of electricity per hour, which means that it takes about 1,100 tons of coal every day to power Chicago’s 1 million business computers. BioGreenPCs use only 10 to 30 watts of electricity per hour. The Jimenez’ expect to have their next generation of BioGreenPC computers certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star program, which would enable buyers to get a tax break for purchasing the machines.
The Jimenez’ came to Bizfi this year for funding to produce demonstration models of their next generation BioGreenPC, which will ship with 16GB of RAM and 240GB solid state drive “It is hard for people to believe that this little box can replace their whole computer so we know they need to try the real thing to spark interest. That requires a heavy investment but it’s an effective sales method” Miguel says. They shipped BioGreenPC samples to local universities and manufacturing companies, and one of their test sites has already committed an initial order for 70 of them. There will be a Kickstarter campaign in early fall aimed at eco-conscious businesses and consumers to help the company reach its next milestone: 500 units a month.
The Jimenez’ are thankful for Bizfi’s help towards that goal. “Bizfi’s representatives were very persistent and very helpful,” Clementina says. “The whole funding process only took about three days.”
“Bizfi was a really good experience,” Miguel adds. “For a fairly new company like iEple it was important to have a big company believe in us.”
iEple has launched a Kickstarter for the second-generation model of its BioGreenPC...."

We had the opportunity to attend to the the Legislative Committee meeting hosted by the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and the topic was "US Department of Labor Overtime Changes"
The Rahje Woodward Law Office presented key interesting data about the final rule:
All above simply translates for the employer into new strong obligations in favor of employees that suddenly are entitled to get paid for overtime; this situation will force employees to opt for options like
From the legal and labor prospective, employers are urged to take action by
While the laws are intrinsically issued in lieu of better work conditions (which we welcome), if left unattended could pose serious burden to employers and companies and ultimately affect any work environment negatively.
So how can iEple help businesses embrace the new laws and use them as an opportunity to reassess the company, maintain (or even improve) profitability without affecting employee engagement? Here are iEple's 3 bullets of tech support:
2. Control "Off the clock" activities:
2.1 Implement automated reports based on employee computer usage: Affordable enterprise reporting solutions can read Active Directory logs and translate them into easy to read automatic reports you can review every week; investing 2 minutes a week you could spot behaviors that could be affecting productivity or generating unnecessary overtime. Your employees will not feel like being micromanaged as reporting occurs privately.
2.2 Assessment and implementation of group policies to prevent or track employee access to company data or email after hours.
3. Centralize off the clock data access with implementation of terminal services or virtual desktop environments when remote or "off the clock" work is strictly required, it is recommendable to have mechanisms that will help employees be more efficient and accurate with their time despite not physically being under management radar. A company managed remotely accessible desktop environment can help employees perform more efficiently and employers have peace of mind company data is safe and company policies fulfilled in an effective way.

Phishing is the most effective way hackers have nowadays to seed viruses and malware to corporate networks for the following reasons:
Can we avoid phishing emails?
In theory yes; spam filters are constantly looking for signs of phishing at the binary and heuristic level, however a good percentage of messages can still go through.
Another risk is the ability for users to review their spam folder; then phishing messages that may look "legit" can lead us to think it was sent to spam by mistake.
So here are our quick 4 things you and your employees should be trained to watch on every single email that comes across:
1. ALWAYS check full details of the sender:
The example above shows "Paypal" on the list of senders; just click on the details of the sender to reveal the real email address. In the example you can see it's not coming from Paypal at all.
2. DONT CLICK ON LINKS before you verify them:
If you are prompted to click on a link to "Verify" or "login" STOP and check that link. Simply hover the mouse on the text or button to reveal where they are trying to take you. In the example above notice how the link would take you to "service-infos.com" which is completely unrelated to Paypal.
3. DO SOME READING
Spammers take advantage of our global inability to pay attention to detail; we unconsciously validate information when we look familiar logos.
Honor your junior high grammar teacher's dream and notice language that you wouldn't expect from a professional. See the example above and watch for simple mistakes that simple don't look good with the context.
4. MIND ATTACHMENTS, scan them first
We receive attachments every day and technology give us the comfort to open them right from our email client or webmail page. Before opening the attachment ask yourself:
The most common attachment extensions are
The most common file extensions used for malicious software sent by email are:
Whether is a common file and coming from a trusted sender, always download the file, rather than opening them; then right click on it and select the option to scan with your default antivirus.
Again, any company should have a solution in place for Spam filtering and threat detection. If you don't it is time to get one. Call us to find out how easy is to implement and the many benefits your company will gain.
Thanks for staying with us so far, we hope this information is valuable. If you'd like to learn more about security for your business computers, managed antivirus and other ways we can help to prevent threats on your network, please contact us and we'll be ready to assist and provide guidance.
If you run a business with 25+ employees and your computers are over 4 years old, you are loosing productivity! and you know it when you hear things like this every day:
I had to reboot my system again
Your first thoughts circle around laziness, but deeply inside you know you are the one at fault; you need good computers for your employees and a 5+ year old pc is just not going to work; so, what can you do to improve your employees work environment without braking the bank?
As you know, replacing the entire computer fleet appears to be the only choice, specially when the market now offers high quality business workstations from the low $400's (like ieple's business computers) but if this option is still over budget, that question asked by your employee "Can I bring my own computer" may not be a bad idea at all.
Introducing iEple's BYOD equipment:
BYOD, according to Wikipedia, refers to the policy of permitting employees to bring personally owned mobile devices (laptops, tablets, and smart phones) to their workplace, and to use those devices to access privileged company information and applications.
But what about security of my data? you may ask.
Part of the success of this program, besides the immediate relief of minimizing costs, is the implementation of security; creating isolated, yet accessible virtual work spaces for employees to access their work tools and files through any device but keeping them from being able to copy company data back and forward to their own gadgets. Just like the image below but way less uncomfortable!
How do I get Started?
BYOD will work for any company that has or is willing to implement:
Hardware/Software alternatives and average costs:
In simple terms, A central computer will have a fully functional operating system that more than one user can access concurrently; all the processing power is provided by the central server so the employee devices become just an instrument to get into the system.
Once inside the system, all work is done within, No data leaks, no data exchange between the device and the office system. Even if the employee computer was infected, the enclosed work environment cannot suffer the effects of the threats.
What to do with the old computers?
You can order a recycling services provider to pick them up or they can be converted into thin-stations, a small safe piece of software gets installed on them so they can be used to access the powerful remote desktop server.
Which things won't work on BYOD
As you can see, BYOD is a great solution for your small and medium business; iEple can assist with your successful implementation, not only providing savings but actually increasing your profitability by regaining productivity and keeping your employees happier.
